I’m a school psychologist, parent coach, and founder of Raise Strong.
I became a school psychologist because I wanted to help children.
But I quickly discovered something important:
One of the best ways to support a child is to support the adults who love them.
Because when you feel calmer, clearer, and more confident, your child feels it too.
That realization became Raise Strong.
I created this space to give parents practical tools for the hardest moments, especially meltdowns, big feelings, and power struggles that leave everyone feeling overwhelmed.

You love your child deeply, but some moments still leave you feeling overwhelmed, unsure, and exhausted. When big emotions take over, it can be hard to know what to say, what to do, or how to keep your own calm.

"Alex has a way of explaining parenting that makes me feel calmer instead of judged. I’ve read so much advice that made me feel like I was doing everything wrong, but Raise Strong feels different. It gives me practical tools while also reminding me that I’m not failing. I always leave feeling more grounded and hopeful."

"Raise Strong has helped me understand my child in a completely different way. Instead of seeing every hard moment as defiance, I’m learning to look for what my child needs underneath the behavior. Alex explains things in a way that is simple, compassionate, and actually useful in real life."

"What I appreciate most about Alex is that he never talks down to parents. He understands how hard parenting can feel, but he also gives you clear steps to move forward. Raise Strong has helped me feel more confident, more connected to my kids, and less alone in the hard moments."
