MORE ABOUT ME

Alex Anderson-Kahl

I’m a school psychologist, parent coach, and founder of Raise Strong.

I became a school psychologist because I wanted to help children.

But I quickly discovered something important:

One of the best ways to support a child is to support the adults who love them.

Because when you feel calmer, clearer, and more confident, your child feels it too.

That realization became Raise Strong.

I created this space to give parents practical tools for the hardest moments, especially meltdowns, big feelings, and power struggles that leave everyone feeling overwhelmed.

Parenting Feels Harder When You’re Trying to Stay Calm Alone

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

right-2.png

Big feelings are hard to handle when you’re overwhelmed too.

You love your child deeply, but some moments still leave you feeling overwhelmed, unsure, and exhausted. When big emotions take over, it can be hard to know what to say, what to do, or how to keep your own calm.

  • Do you feel like... didn't believe in myself (internal belief)
  • Do you feel like... you know yelling does not help, but in the moment, you do not know what else to do?
  • Does it seem... I have no outside help or resources (external)
  • Does it seem... your child goes from calm to melting down before you even have time to think?
  • Are you frustrated that... The market is in a downturn (environment)
  • Are you frustrated that... power struggles keep happening even when you are trying to parent with connection?
  • And when it comes down to it, do you...  big summed-up problem here
  • And when it comes down to it, do you...  wish you had simple words and clear steps for the hard moments?

You are not failing. You are doing your best with the tools you have. Raise Strong gives you a steadier path forward.
